The problem
A company in the process manufacturing sector wanted to implement innovative AR/VR solutions to their new joiners, but were missing an adequate network connection.
The company offers a variety of mechanical components for the process industry. Mainly machines that help automatize the repetitive tasks in the industry.Giving training to the new joiners of the company in times of Corona, where the rules would not allow people to meet in person, was an unsolved problem. The process they needed to learn was related to machines and the production process, what required a hands-on training. Because of Corona rules, the trainings were prohibited to hold in person. But missing the practical part would not allow the new-joiners to start working.The question was, how to enable new innovative training methods like VR/AR.
The solution
A 5G broadband network to have a smooth and reliable wireless standard
With 5G Technology the possibility of providing training through VR/AR solution to new joiners are possible all around US. A whole training program for the new joiners of the company was implemented, with help of VR technology, they were able to interact with the machines and the parts which needed to be changed.

Before
Training for new joiners were held in person, in Germany. Making all the participants travel to the location. When corona rules prohibited these actions, the training needed to be canceled, but the new workers needed the training.
Afterwards
It was possible to install 5G technology and load a training fully on VR for the new joiners who could learn all about the machines and learn in real-time about the parts, having interaction through virtual reality.
